Epix will broadcast Vitali Klitschko vs Odlanier Solis

Klitschko is set to face mandatory challenge Odlanier Solis (17-0), a 2004 Cuban Olympic gold medalist, in Germany -- Klitschko's home base. The American television coverage of the bout likely will be handled by fledgling premium cable network Epix, which is interested in making boxing part of its offerings. This is great news for fight fans.

Doubt it, looks like Epix are going to go after fights now.

I wonder who Epix will get to cover the fight, I hope to god they avoid Bob Sheridan like the black plague.

I like that networks are getting interesting in boxing but I don't like that it's premium. lots of boxing fans get sho and hbo SOLELY for boxing matches.

I don't like it either. Oh well, sure there will be a feed for it.

Boxing doesn't need to be on anymore premium channels. It needs to get away from the, not get on more of them.

Does Epix cost a fee a month or do you get it in a package ?

It cost 10 bucks a month, and is only available to Verizon FIOS subscribers. My cabable company does not cover them.

I looked them up, and I guess they are owned by Paramount, and basicaly was created when the long time out-put deal Parmount had with Showtime ended, and were not able to make a new deal.

Your tv situation confuses me any time I read about it, we basically just have Sky over here and a couple telephone companies who show show some stuff.

Well, US is gigantic. So there are area cable companies. And for rural areas where no cable, those people use the dish.
