Better Satellite TV - DIRECTV or Dish Network?

I'm paying out the ass for Cable TV, but i'm concerned if I switch to Satellite, I won't be able to get the same channels and the quality of the feed I get now. I need some opinions on switching from Cable to Satellite TV and which is better, DIRECTV or Dish Network?

I had direct tv for the nil package. great service but no local stations.

Right now I think its Dish but who knows. I have dish and I like it. I switched from expensive ass Cable to Dish.

just put up a good outdoor antenna, you can get loads of locals for free over the air in uncompressed HD.

I'm gonna do something, i'm paying about $120 a month for Cable TV, I talked to someone at DIRECTV a few days ago, and they had a package with 228 channels including HBO & Showtime, (28 premium/movie channels) for $65 a month. I really hate switching but, $120 a month is just ridiculous.
